About Me
Myco Sabino
Hello! I am Myco Sabino. I am in high school and am in year 10 and as of the making of this website I am on my work experience at Precedence

Tennis
I have been playing tennis for the past 8 years and am currently still playing tennis. Some of my achievements include being in the top 10 of Queensland at age 10 invited to go down to Brisbane to have a training camp.

Highschool
I have been going to St Mary’s catholic college for my whole high school experience. For my primary schooling I had gone to Saint Gerald Majella and for one year in year 3 I had gone to Hambledon State School. I am an a-b student and was a house captain in year 6.

Gaming
Growing up I’ve been quite the heavy gamer ranging from games like Minecraft, Terraria, mobile games, Rocket League, Fortnite, Raft and many more. Currently the games Im interest in are League of Legends, Terraria, Kingdom Rush and The Spike.

Sporting
I have been playing tennis for over 8 years and have won many trophies and medals. At school my sporting achievements include being age champion for year 4 and 5. Year 6 I had come 2nd age champion. I didn’t compete during athletics carnival during year 7 or 8 but in year 9 I competed in Long jump, triple jump and Javelin. I came first for long jump, triple jump and Javelin. Because of this I got to go to TCS trials. I wasn’t able to get top 4 for long jump but was able to come second for triple jump and first for Javelin. Due to this I had an opportunity to go to peninsula trials. At peninsula trials I had no luck and wasn’t able to get top 4 in either triple jump or Javelin.
“The difference between a novice and a master is that a master has failed more times than a novice had tried.”
History
Born in 2008 on the 14th of March
Went in the my first year of primary school in 2012
Had to leave in year 3 to go to Hambledon State School due to money issues
Came back to St Gerald Majella in year 4
In year 6 I applied to become the Fraser house captain. After the voting I had won house captain
The next year was my first year of high school which would be at St Mary’s catholic college
Year 7 and 8 I had tried not to stand out and instead stayed quite passive. Year 9 I found my place and decided to compete in the schools volleyball JSS team which I got in to. That year I also competed in the athletics carnival for the 100m, long jump, triple jump, javelin and discus. I was able to come first in long jump, triple jump and javelin. Later in the year I was able to go to TCS trials because of getting top 3 in long jump, triple jump and javelin. Was able to muster 1st place for javelin and 2 for triple jump. Due to this I was able to move onto the next level which would be peninsula trials. At peninsula trials I was unable to get a top 4 placement and was not able to compete in the next level
My schools JSS volleyball hadn’t done well but was able to make it to the quarter finals. However this was due to beating Peace Lutherin which was a team full of y7s.
I am now in my tenth year of schooling which is year 10 in high school. I competed again for the schools volleyball team but instead it would be the CISSA team which is meant for seniors. Again I was able to make the team. Although I made the team I started at the bottom of the chain and had to find my own place on the team. The team had mostly Y12s consisting of seven y12s, one y11 and three y10s which included me and 2 of my friends that also competed with me. The first game was a week after the trials and the starting six consisted of only y12s. For the next game however my friend was able to make a spot on the starting 6. The starting six stayed consistent for the next few games. However the second set the coach would change up the six who got to play and I got a few chances to play. Against the Redlynch team the starting six had performed quite badly and on the second set I was allowed a chance to play. The team that played in the second set performed much better than the first set team and was able to win the set. The players which included me got to stay on the court. For the final point of the game I was the one to hit the gaming winning spike. Because of this spectacular performance I was able to earn a spot on the starting six. I am now still apart of the starting 6.
Currently of the making of this website I am on the last week of term 1 which is my work experience week. I am situated at Precedence which is a website design company and am learning about creating my own website which is this website.
